The World Famous Gold Coast Indy is televised to over 180 countries.

Sovereign Islands One of the hottest events on the Australian motor-racing calendar is the Gold Coast Indy. Months of planning are involved to turn the streets of Surfers Paradise into a 4.5km race circuit and the city of Gold Coast into an off-track stage, featuring over 200 support events and attractions. The annual four-day event culminates in the Australian round of the international Indy Car grand prix championship series, and is televised worldwide to spectators in over 180 countries.

Organisers and promoters of major events will be familiar with the challenges faced by the Gold Coast Motor Events Co, including moderating government commitment for the Indy, building community support and attracting high-profile competitors, sponsors, support events and viewers.
